Explore the possibilities of play with the emergent curriculum approach. Together we will engage in hands-on experiences and reflective discussions that enhance our understanding of the emergent curriculum and play-based approach to children’s learning experiences. Let’s start the day off with engaging in some play experiences ourselves and practice our skills in observation. This is followed by some reflective discussions about what we observed, and how can we adapt this into our planning process and environments. What possibilities for play can we plan for? What invitations to play and play provocations can we create based on these observations? Join other passionate educators in these rich discussions before we discover what visual planning format works best for each of us. It’s your journey! Take your next steps in the planning process that extends your knowledge and builds on your confidence in planning. After some amazing discussions along with some great tips and strategies, we will make our learning visible! Let’s document our discovers of play and showcase how amazing our mighty learners are! We can do this together as we connect, collaborate and inspire each other!
