Welcome to our Lunch and Learn mini webinars! These online community webinars give you some practical strategies you can implement immediately! Lunch and Learn webinars are only 30 minutes and are offered over the lunch hour of 1:00-1:30PM. Each month, we present a different topic to enhance your knowledge and teaching practices as early childhood educators.

September 10, 2024: Rest Time

Taking time to rest in our days is an important part of children’s daily routine. It offers children a chance to process information and experiences, and time to restore their minds and bodies. Children need this time to build their problem-solving skills, divergent thinking skills, and creativity. Let’s talk about downtime and how we can support it in our daily routines.

Things to Keep in Mind:

• Registration is required for all Lunch and Learn webinars

• These are FREE webinars!
• This workshop will be held online through the Zoom platform.
• You will need access to a smartphone, laptop, tablet or computer with audio capabilities to join us.
• A link will be emailed to you 24 hours prior to the workshop. Please click the link 10 minutes before the workshop begins to join in.
• Certificates are only available to our Protector of Play Community Members
