Inspired Minds ECC is excited to announce our brand new learning opportunity  “Indigenous Learning Series” for early childhood educators. Inspired Minds ECC is pleased to welcome our guest presenter for these sessions, Sherry Duncan, as she shares with us her vast knowledge and experiences of Indigenous ways of knowing and being and early childhood.

Every month, from August to December 2024, we will invite you to join us for these learning sessions.

NEW! Roots & Routes – Journey into land wisdom

When looking at land based learning with an indigenous lens, we are invited to consider a holistic view of nature, a way of being and knowing that recognizes our relationships with “all our relations” which includes plants, animals, water, land, wind, sun, moon, stars – everything seen and unseen. This session will explore the following.

• Circle Teachings
• Lessons from the earth about reciprocity
• Environmental Scavenger hunt
• Element of art – textures in our environment
• Butterfly Ball – lessons from an early childhood classroom

• Registration closes 24 hours in advance!
• This workshop will be held online through the Zoom platform.
• You will need access to a smartphone, laptop, tablet or computer with audio capabilities to join us.
• A link will be emailed to you 24 hours prior to the workshop. Please click the link 10 minutes before the workshop begins to join in.
• Certificate of participation will be available to registered participants.
• All registered participants will have 30 days access to the webinar recording.
