NEW! Roots, Rhythms & Play: Enriching Children’s Outdoor Experiences
Roots, Rhythms & Play: Enriching Children’s Outdoor Experiences
Roots, Rhythms & Play: Enriching Children’s Outdoor Experiences invites educators to reimagine outdoor play as a rich, holistic learning experience where nature and children are co-constructors of knowledge. This workshop examines the power of active play, the importance of healthy risk-taking, and the educator’s role in creating responsive, intentional outdoor spaces that nurture discovery and confidence. Participants will engage in hands-on learning, reflect on real-world scenarios, and gather practical strategies for designing environments that honour children’s curiosity and strengthen their relationships with nature and community.
Rooted in best practices and a holistic view of early learning, this workshop equips educators to transform outdoor moments into meaningful experiences that support children’s wonder, growth, and sense of belonging in the world around them.
Workshop Goals
