What is DAP\, anyway?This energetic\, hands-on workshop invites you to dive into the heart of Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP) through full participation\, meaningful reflection\, and—of course—play. \nTogether\, we’ll explore what DAP truly means and why it matters for high-quality early learning environments. How does DAP shape your professional decisions? How does it influence children’s learning\, engagement\, and well-being? We’ll unpack the foundational principles of DAP and discover practical ways to bring these strategies to life in your own play spaces. \nBut this won’t be just another discussion. In the spirit of following the child’s lead\, we’re turning this learning experience into a game-show-style adventure—complete with challenges\, collaboration\, and plenty of playful moments. You’ll leave feeling more developmentally informed\, responsive\, and inspired in your role as an early childhood educator. \nGet ready to learn\, laugh\, and play your way through DAP. Let’s play! \nWorkshop Goals: \n\nGain an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) in early learning environments\nIdentify effective strategies & activities for implementing DAP\nReflect on strengths and goals for individual and team-teaching practices\n\nThings to Keep in Mind: \n\nRegistration closes 24 hours in advance!\nPD funding and RT funding available to eligible participants.\nCertificate of participation will be available to registered participants.\nAll registered participants will have 30 days access to the webinar recording.\nThis workshop will be held online through the Zoom platform.\nYou will need access to a smartphone\, laptop\, tablet or computer with audio capabilities to join us.\nA link will be emailed to you 24 hours prior to the workshop.
